Our training program gives your horse all the necessary skills needed to become a show horse.  We start with solid ground work, using a combination of Parelli, Monty Roberts, and John Lyons.  We break babies, train the youngsters, and put the finishing touches on the older ones.

With our training, you can expect your final results to be:

  • Well mannered on the ground and in hand. To include the ability to clip, blanket, bathe, and load your horse onto a trailer.
  • Depending on the length of time spent with us; a steady trot/jog, relaxed canter/lope on the correct leads, and the basics in jumping.

Jazzy Girl is a Friesian Cross that came from Jacksonville, Florida to be broke and started under saddle. These pictures show Lindsey and I breaking her.

Jazzy's training progressed quickly, these photos show pictures of her trianing 30 days after breaking her.  Unfortunatly, Jazzy returned home to Jacksonville with an illness that has put her training on hold.  Jazzy was with us for 6 months.

This is No Ordianry Joe.  Joe has been with me for 3 weeks.  When Joe came he was a serious space invader, had no ground manners, and refused to load in a trailer like a gentleman.  I am so happy to say, that in three weeks, Joe now stands quietly, respects your space, loads in a trailer, and is learning to jog with some manners as well.  Keep watching as I update you on his progress.

No Ordinary Joe went to his first show February 27th, 2010 and brought home a blue ribbon.  After only 90 days training, we are more than proud of him. Also, just to note: Joe now loads and unloads on and off a trailer by himself like a gentlemen.

Memphis (TWH) joined the training program 5 weeks ago.  He had some issues with his rack being smooth and understanding basic commands. He was rather spooky, he will be leaving for home the 1st of June with all of his issues solved.

Boe joined the training program 8 weeks ago.  Boy was he a "nervous nelly".  Boe is a spotted Kentucky Mountian Horse.  He is slowly learning to relax and not fear everything that crosses his path.  His owner rode him without fear last week in his lesson.

Pictures soon to come.
